Jaiden’s AP Blog

 Today we went over a short story. We answered 8 questions on the story and tested our comprehension skills. We focused on how the narrator acted and his internal conflicts. We went over the questions, one by one and then checked other’s responses. I have practice again today, and then I have to try to find khakis for the fall sports banquet.

 I didn't do Wednesday's blog, but it was pretty simple. I woke up at  8am for my therapy appointment and then got up and cleaned my room again. I slept for pretty much the whole day afterwards though, I had only gotten 4 hours of sleep so I was tired. I went to sleep at 10am and woke back up at around 3pm. My mom checked on me to make sure I wasn't dead and then she took her husband to work. I made some green lemon tea and then went to sleep again. I didn't wake up until around 7pm and that was why I barley got any sleep on thursday. While I was up during the middle of the night, I finished re-watching the show Star.

 Today I only got 4 hours of sleep and woke up really early. I took a walk around 10am just to wake myself up a little more and get active. When I got back home, I called my brother and asked him what he had planned for the day besides dropping by. I ended up getting ready at 1 and eating at my moms house around 2pm for the first stop. My brother came over at 3 and ate too, and then we headed to my grandmothers house.  Around 5pm me and my cousins brought out the tree and decorated it with ornaments and lights.  Around 7:30 my dad arrived and bought like 4 boxes of candy canes. We didn't eat until like 9pm though, and then the night ended with my family fighting as usual and my brother then took me home. 

 I didn't do much today either, woke up at like 7 and I made some oatmeal so I could take my iron and vitamin D pills. Stayed in bed for a few hours watching horribly acted movies from Tubi TV, and I washed the dishes. I went to lie back down and watched some Youtube videos by coryxkenshin. My mom made me go outside for a little so some sun could touch me. I was outside for about an hour just chilling and doing work, and then it was like 39 degrees so I went back inside. I did some more work and then I took a nap. After I woke up, it was around 8 and my mom and her husband were leaving so I started moving around. I did the dishes again and took a shower. Since I took a nap, I'm probably going to stay up late but that was all I did today. 

 Today was the first day of thanksgiving break, and I stayed in bed pretty much all day. I was watching a movie commentary on Youtube by Kennie.J.D and I decided to actually watch the movie. I set a appointment with my therapists for Wednesday. After I was done, I did a 30 minute ab-workout, because the season is starting soon and my coach told us not to slack during the break. I had the sudden urge to clean up my room and bathroom though, so that took up like 5 hours.  Burning incense and washing clothes after cleaning up the clutter in my room really helped me feel a little better mentally wise. Then I stayed up until about 2 talking to my friend and waiting for my covers to dry so I could go to sleep.  

Today we had a bellringer about which colleges we though about attending and the tuition cost. We then got a packet with two sources and a writing task. Because folks couldn't stop talking, we got homework where we had to a nswer the prompt from today's assignment in two paragraphs. After class, I went to practice and we went to the weight room before going to the field.  Me and a few girls ran a few laps on the track and when coach Arhin came outside he had us do suicides from the cones to the goal. Towards the end of practice, we started a scrimmage and played until 6:15. 

 Today we worked on making up any assignments we were missing. And I realized I've been really lacking when it comes to putting in effort and turning stuff in. I only had 4 things missing but the bad grades I've gotten on tests and classwork keep bringing my grade down. I didn't turn in part 2,3 or 4 so I have to finish those to catch up on the project. Since that was it, i'll sum up my week. One of my aunts on my mom's side died, i went to Savannah state for a JROTC field trip on Monday, my sister made it to Japan to get on her naval ship, my older brother came to visit from North Carolina, and I found a few new ways to work on my anger from my therapists. 

 Today we finished our benchmark and did questions 18 through 20. After class, we had practice and moved back to the baseball field. A few more girls came out and we did some more basic shooting drills. Once we finished that, we broke into teams to play a scrimmage. Once the other team had about 2 points, we switched sides and were on the defensive side. This small underclassman tried to start a fight with me after the game because he and his team couldn't score. Nevertheless him being so mad only proves how good i am at my position because they couldn't score. 

 Today we took a benchmark and we were supposed to  answer questions 1-18. That’s all we did in class today, so after class I went to soccer practice. We were on the football field since the football team was at the stadium. We were out there until 6:30 and then practice ended. We got 4 new girls to come out but the majority were still new boys. We played a scrimmage after doing dribbling drills, and my team won 6-4. 

 Today we were on illuminate and we created a body paragraph on the topic on kindergartners focusing more on social skills or education. We did it step by step and because i wasnt at school monday, i had to skim through each source when it came to finding evidence. We took half the time discussing our thoughts and explaining how the evidence worked for our claim. I had to stay a little late, because i didn’t finish my conclusion but I got it done. 

 Today we took a 3 question quiz on chapter seven of the book "Wild". We then started reading chapter 8 and everybody read a paragraph. After we read, i got my chapter 1 quiz and the bell dismissed us. I went to practice for about an hour, but I had to leave early because my iron was low and I almost passed out.
