 Today we took a poetry test. There were 4 poems and 25 multiple choice questions.

Reflection 09-27-21

 Today we had a bellringer on what Cedar Grove's honor code was like based on what would happen if a student was caught cheating. We then received a packet with a prompt on the same subject, and went through 6 different sources and summarized or analyzed how they would help with the position we chose. After skimming through each page, we thoroughly read through them, and underlined statements that would support our argument. We took a few notes down regarding definitions that would help us make a strong argument such as "evaluate,summarize,and direct quotations".

Reflection 04-19-22

 Today we went over another prompt and logged into illuminate. We watched a video abut the earth and how we think it is being effected. We answered one of the questions and then we talked about space and whether or not we thought it should be explored further. We spoke about spaceships and explosions. We left off on a note talking about how we can use pictures by not describing them, but explaining how they relate to our claim.

reflection 03-21-22

 Today we continued on chapter 5 of the arguing book. We wrote a 3 to 5 sentence summary about it and also included 5 major points of the chapter. We wrote down the meaning of hope,faith,doubt, and certainty and then we wrote down a list of things that would be certain in 10 years and then a list of things that we doubt would happen in the next 10 years. We got a prompt about certainty and doubt and then we chose which one we would be on sides with. 20 minutes before class ended I literally fell asleep and then my neck ended up hurting really bad so I guess it was karma. After class we had to take soccer pictures, but we ended up starting an hour late because our coach was on the phone with someone forever.
